S&P recently mailed its March newsletter, containing a list of favored techs for the coming year. SEG, WDC, and QNTM were all present. S&P cited not only strong demand but an improved pricing environment for all three drive makers. It was interesting to note the '96/E'97 earnings comparisons, e.g. SEG up 311%, WDC up 236%.
