The link is from Tom's hardware page. Before you jump to conclusions, keep in mind Tom's favorite processors are the PPro and Pentium. Also, on the same page, he says he overclocked a Pentium to 250MHz(Feb. 8).

Tom overclocked a K6 to 250MHz which means the speed distributions for K6s currently in production should be very good:

RE:confidentiality of clock speeds
They have stated the clock speeds they expect, so they are not exactly being secretive.
