do you think or have you seen any perceptible change in anyone around you since the cbs tv story? i don't think i have. did have an interesting y2k conversation with a neighbor yesterday, but he didn't see the tv show so it was kind of a frustrating experience for both of us.

he is willing to listen and believe but i think it is too late to do anything except throw major personal money and mental effort into all this. they are such a nice retired couple, but i've got to say, neither and he nor she basically has either of those two resources. and i believe that conversation is quite typical. it sure is tough trying to keep preparing and not wanting to talk about it outside the family, since it is such a part of our everyday lives now INSIDE our family.
