Can anyone name this company?

I was just on the phone with JDX trying to get any scrap of information they would provide...they are still looking for a deal in the technology/internet sector and will release the news as soon as the deal is done...blah, blah, blah....

However I did get some interesting news. Kaiser mentioned in his newsletter that William Staudt was credited with finding new life for a shell on NASDAQ a couple of years back but I have never been able to figure out what company it was.

I was just told that in 1992 William Staudt was hired on as a director in a shell company on the NASDAQ with $15 million in cash selling at cash value. He was hired to find a new business for the company (sound familiar).

I was told that a deal with a private company was made that year and a new business plan was adopted. Two years later the company was takeover by a European company for $240 million or 16 times its initial value. However they would not give me the name of the company because they said they didn't want to advertise this fact????

I'm going to do some digging trying to find out what company this was....if anyone else knows or can find it first please post it. It shouldn't be that hard to find but you never know.
