This is perhaps where our preferred ideas diverge. What you describe as an "act" (thus positing an "agent") I like to more blandly think of as an "event". I don't really think it's an evasion on my part - more like hedging my existential bets. Waht can I say? I'm a fairly hard-cored agnostic. I hold stock in Creation - but I sell calls against my holding. :-)

Wheelbarrelful resides in a wine fridge at a year-round 55-57 degrees. I'm drinking the mid-Eighties Californians now. I'm disappointed with how they've kept. So much for believing The Wine Expectorator.
Other highlights of the collection - '90 Hermitage. In my curmudgeonly opinion it leaves even the Latour looking like a bridesmaid. Yyuumm.
