Henley's Demo Mall Opening Soon

May 26, 1999 02:20 PM
MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 25, 1999--The Henley Group, Inc. HNLY recently announced its plans to construct an online computer product mall.

Henley engaged Carlton A. Glassford of The ComputerBucks Club, Inc. (Bradenton, FL) to build this first of several online malls.

Glassford is successfully negotiating with many professional sources throughout the Computer Product, Computer Graphic, and Internet marketing Industries on behalf of The Henley Group's mall project.

Tim Ramsey, of the Ringling School of Art and Design (Sarasota, FL), has been hired to assist with site development and to oversee all of the graphic design work to be used in the mall development.

Mr. Ramsey worked as an artist and graphic consultant for Steven Spielberg's movie "Twister" and was associated with Warner Brothers, he also has done extensive logo designs for many companies and institutions including extensive artwork for the University of Oklahoma, and is a contributing artist to various publications.

Ramsey stated that, "I am very excited to work with Carlton Glassford on this project and feel I can contribute much toward its success."

Ramsey worked with Jack Kirby (creator of X-Men, Marvel comics) on his very last project.

Plans for a mall ezine (email magazine publication) for ecismall.com and its merchants are already in the making. Glassford states, "We will create a publication that offers our subscribers some really useful information. A publication that will give Internet users useful tips and tools to use that they may not otherwise find as easily online."

Work has already begun on "DemoMall" for the ecismall.com project. DemoMall is a store within the mall that will allow visitors to see how to navigate through upcoming mall stores, search for products, and will invite other retailers and merchants to become a part of this exciting mall project. Henley expects DemoMall to be completed within 4 weeks.
