BGR, Irving Fisher was the most respected economist of the 20's when he announced that stocks have reached a permanently high plateau and prosperity was here to stay. He admired the Fed's easy money policies because there was no product price inflation. Only the austrian economists saw inflation in the financial markets and predicted the collapse. mike
