I like Edify's press release about divesting their HR unit. It's a sign that the merger with SONE will be focused on financial stuff.

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Edify Corporation (Nasdaq:
EDFY - news), an Internet and voice e-Commerce portal solution provider,announced today the sale of Edify's Employee Relationship Managementgroup to Workscape, a privately-held provider of Internet-based employee selfservice solutions, of Vienna, VA. The sale consists of Workscape's purchaseof Edify's Employee Relationship Management group assets including theEmployee Service System (ESY) software that is implemented with the EdifyElectronic Workforce (EWF) technology. Workscape has also agreed tolicense Edify's EWF technology for up to 24 months from the date of thecompleted transaction. Today's announcement also includes the transfer of upto 60 Edify employees from the areas of engineering, technical support,consulting services, marketing, sales, and management.
