you may consider selling some of your dell, reducing margin and buying deep in the money dell leap calls which have minimum premium to the market, you can write covered calls against the leap as you do the underlying..

I am curious about your comment that one can write covered calls on leaps. I didn't know that this could be done. Is this something any broker that allows options will know about? Do you just sell the calls and the broker will consider it covered because you own leaps instead of the actual underlying?
