Don, I would love to see us go directly to pure electrics but it seems that it would be too radical a step. There are the problems of public acceptance and strong resistance by the oils and all of the infrastructure surrounding ice engines. You are not wrong in your passion for electrics, you are a visionary who is way on the left side of the electric bell curve. The hybrids will need a lot of batteries too, as Bob Stemple pointed out.
