Hi Tommysdad,
You wouldn't believe it, but after making jokes about the weather, we woke up with snow on the ground this morning!
Anyway, I visited BIO's office today. I'm not attached to the company, apart I guess from being a shareholder. I cannot be absolutely100% sure about this story, but I've become more comfortable.
I browsed through the 327 page filing document for the 20F registration. Patents have been applied for in China and Canada, under the name V-411. The company's patent lawyers in Vancouver are Owen Wiggs - apparently one of the top two local firms, (I'll confirm that with a lawyer buddy tomorrow),but obviously they're not going to tell us anything.
Rather than having me bounce back and forward between you and the company like a demented ping-pong ball, may I suggest that you call 1-888-216-1111 and ask for Bob Rieveley, the President, and grill him about the patents and the compound.
Those of us who've sunk our money into the company (in my case a substantial amount) welcome your input and your scepticism.
The company is burning about $80,000 a month and could continue at it's present rate for another ten months assuming no revenues were received (from the $4m in sales in China to date), the final warrants were not exercised, and no deal came from Merck. All of those events (we are told) will happen.
March 24 is the registration date for the filing. There follows a credit check on the principals of the company (a few days), and then they have the OTC listing. In fact backing into a listing.
There's a little more, but I've got other things to do right now, so I'll bid you goodnight, and hope to hear from you soon.
Robin
PS Darrin. In the greater scheme of things, the company hasn't been that slow. Just take a look at that filing document sometime. All the best. |
