When(if) the Kosovars do start to return, there will be massive amounts of money needed to rebuild homes, schools, hospitals, infrastructure, etc. Anybody want to guess how much of that money (a) will be provided by the U.S. taxpayers, and (b) how much of that money and aid will be siphoned off by politicians, the black market, etc. before it reaches the people in need?
This thing ain't over by a LONG shot. Clinton will be long gone, and so will his successor (maybe more than one successor) before we stop paying for this little wag-the-dog excursus. |
