Hi Trevor,

Just thought I'd add a bit from the user perspective. Glad you found it helpful.

Fusion does have plug-ins for ASP, I knew several guys using it. Also for Cold Fusion by Allaire. As for XML, not sure, but I have little doubt that the next incarnation of Fusion will. Given the "newness", and the few sites using it, I don't think it's an issue for now (IMHO). They do, however, offer good DB connectivity.

Okay, now before people start saying I sound like I'm on the payroll, I'm not. I am a user who happens to be active in the "community" and find that it is a tool that makes building sites a lot less of a chore and is key in making me competitive and allows me to make some coin in the process. A lie detector test is available. :) Do I have a vested interest in NO? Sure. Do I want them to succeed? Of course.

As for the future ... I hope going public allows them to "raise the bar" again by giving them the healthy cash-flow every company needs.

Over the past year NO has been very active in "picking the brain" of users. As a frequent user, I have been asked on occasion to put in my opinion as to what I see as the direction of NO. I think that's pretty cool, a company that actually listen's to what the user's want. Hopefully that turns into an even more kick-ass tool in the future which in turn, turns into higher stock prices. And if I could predict the future, I'd of bought Microsoft stock in the 80's and Dell stock in the 90's. :)

Cheers,

David
