I think Lexar's statement today along with the filing of suit is one of the silliest things I've ever seen in business. I think Sandisk answered every point in the suit quite well in their response. The whole thing is absurd. The two companies must have had some sort of falling out.

Besides, I'm not sure what advertising campaign is Lexar talking about. This company doesn't advertise per se, but they certainly make valid claims about their products when trying to make deals.

The whole think looks groundless to me, but it might cause a hickup in the stock Thursday (may have had some profit taking anyway).

I thought it was cool the way Lexar made Sandisk sound like such as huge company. They really are not...yet. The total revenues are just not the big, but it's a whole lot more than what Lexar is doing in Flash Memory.

If anything, the press releases might indicate that this case is far from over. I think they should go to court in some sort of proceeding and get this stuff sorted out. Let a judge take care of this so everyone can move on.
