War in Yugoslavia may be about to take a major turn for the worse. I fear that the US beloved leader may be about to place "Peacekeepers" on the land. I'm sure we will be reminded over and over that these are not ground troops, but peacekeepers. This will simply be another in a great string of untruths with the sole intent to rewrite the recent history of this period of leadership.
Yeltsin has already warned of spreading war -- and even world war -- if we were to have missiles go astray, like with China, and they were to hit Russian property.
There are multiple countries on the borders of Yugoslavia gathering troops -- "just in case". With each bomb the USA drops, the potential for other countries to join this mess grows greater. If war spreads to Europe, start digging a hole.
This war should never have begun. Its proposed intent was to stop the "atrocities". There were about 100,000 refugees in the past FIVE YEARS. Now, in a few short weeks, with this compassionate war, there are over a MILLION refugees. I've seen reports of over 100,000 people now dead. Does this make you question not only the results of this war but also the intent?
The Serbs are considered Russia's allies. Yeltsin has already suggested that if the US sends troops, then they may have too as well. Even if there is a staged "peace", with US peacekeepers left -- how long and how much money do you think this will cost? Inflation went out of control during Vietnam.
Couple this with a record US trade deficit, corporate earnings going down, depression in almost every industry, things getting worse by the day in in Asia, Latin America, and Europe, and Internet stocks sitting on huge PAPER profits -- and you have disaster waiting to happen. Only the stock market is sitting on prosperity -- not manufacturers, farmers, miners, oil drillers, computer sellers, etc. etc. etc. Look at the countries that have suffered major economic downturns -- Asia, China, South Korea, Japan, Russia. Global economies are in a shambles.
Every major economic forecaster has been saying for a long time now that this market must correct or it may suffer a collapse. And true collapses are almost always followed by depression. SOROS (gg), LYNCH, BUFFETT -- all warn of possible CRASH, yet the gambling goes on and on. I have taken part in this. It is hard not to when you see stocks rising 20-30 points in a day. SOROS' NOTE-- it is also easy to get burned quickly.
Greenspan even hinted in a round-about way that markets such as these could fall 30% or 40%!
But none of this matters because there is no INFLATION! Right? Wrong! There is inflation in wages. Many corporations are paying huge salaries in stock and stock options. This huge wage inflation feeds the inflation in stock prices. There is also huge inflation in Real Estate -- also being fed from the wage inflation. Try and buy some land just about anywhere and tell me there is no inflation. But since the wages are in stock and options, it doesn't show as wage inflation. There is so much "shady" accounting going on that no one really knows what's happening under their noses.
If you have read this thread in its entirety, then you know what I believe the world is being set up for -- the AntiChrist. If you simply want to look at it from a humanistic approach, then I would be buying some more Gold and preparing for trouble. The love of money is the ROOT of ALL evil. And it will be this love that will be the downfall of a people who ignore all the signs placed for their benefit within the Bible.
