Trader,

The following was posted on the RB site by Connected:

1. Non-acidic battery: If anyone is wondering, I found out why they went with Aniche as the OEM. Within China, it's not how much money you have, but who you know. Apparently, there are two individuals within Aniche who have very strong contacts within China. As it looks to be Power technology's first target market for the battery, it seems to be a good strategic decision.

2. Alloy Sensor: Is Hydro Quebec the major utility company they're talking to? With such a prominent reputation, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Either way, Power Tech. has apparently begun to sell the unit to companies within the food industry (General Mills has been named).

3. Magnetic Pipeline joining: With pipelines constantly being constructed all over the globe, this could be huge down the road. The process apparently would cut costs and time allocation by 40%. I just read in today's Toronto Star that a new Natural Gas pipeline has been approved in Canada. The overall project's cost is expected to be $376 million. So a 40% reduction would be over $150 million in savings. That's huge!!! Not to say that Power Tech. is ready to take on such a massive project, but hey, at least we know how valuable the technology will be down the road.

Position- Long; ST Rating- Strong Buy; LT Rating- Hold)
