Mr Roland Martin and Mr Ken Hann report
Keltic Inc and ISG Technologies have combined their technology operations in the province of
Newfoundland and Labrador, creating an industry leader in information technology products and
services.
Keltic's technology subsidiary, Keltic Technologies Group, will become the major shareholder in ISG.
It will merge its people, assets and operations in Newfoundland with those of ISG. The expanded
company will have approximately 40 employees, and will be known as Keltic-ISG Technologies Inc.
The bringing together of ISG and Keltic will have positive benefits for technology customers in
Newfoundland and Labrador. It will provide leading-edge professional services, technology training,
and excellent products and services from world-class suppliers such as Hewlett Packard, Microsoft,
IBM, Apple, Digital, Cisco, Novell, Toshiba, and others.
Both companies are currently an integral part of the provincial technology industry and this merger will
provide the critical mass for excellent growth.
Mr Ken Hann will be president of the new organization.
