I'm afraid I do not much about the details of Buffet's operations. Your question is perhaps best answered in the Buffetology thread. A few things that I do know about Buffet's approach is that despite all the talk about "value investing", Warren Buffet is an expert of market dynamics and uses it to his full advantage. In addition, what and how he invests in the market, may not be feasible for the average (or even the not so average) investor, due to the very large size of BRK. ST
