I guess I showed my lack of knowledge here. The only time I trade 1000 shares is with lower priced stocks, and I do use schwab. I did not know about the 500 share threshold. Many times I get partial fills, but I had no idea why. Anyway with the high priced net stocks I can only trade 100 to 400 shares. Can you sell short with an ECN ?
