I believe I did have my facts straight when I previously posted that ASAT had not (and still has not as of tonight) issued an independent press release confirming TPEG's announcement this morning. It's not that I don't believe it, I just find it strange that a company ostensibly being "aquired" does not issue their own PR. That's what I meant by my "deal smells" comment. If I'm wrong about this, please point me to the ASAP press release, as it's certainly not on Yahoo: quote.yahoo.com PS: I regret that you were offended by my "stuff the rumors" rebuke. If one of the vague, unattributed rumors you frequently post ever actually comes true, I shall apologize at once. Disclosure: I am long TPEG, but only because I'm a moron.
