When does it become war, when the police start killing people they suspect of "FLQ" type activities. Who would support the systematic slaughter being perpetrated by Milosevitch and his government before NATO ever intervened. Do you think every NATO leader and all the intelligence is just stupid. It is really naive to believe that Serbia would have stopped the slaughter unless made to do so.
You don't believe anyone, not CNN, not the UN, not NATO, not the Canadian government, no independent journalist, no one. Propaganda works good.
The Serbians, under Milosevitch have waged a ceaseless campaign. For what was once Yugoslavia, this is not an inconvenience, it is a major tragedy. |
