Richard, I based my opinion that VHF had a lot of wipsaws by comparing it to ADX. But then again I did not use it the way you do which provide smoothing. KST is a wonderful indicator. You can't go wrong with it. If you read Martin Pring "Market Momentum" you will like it. KST predicted the DOW's fall last July-August time frame during May. It has also predicted the current DOW and NASDAQ correction in advance. I always use it and I think it is the best there is next to Relative Strength Comparative(not RSI). I am also heavily into Intermarket Analysis. I follow Commodities, stocks, bonds, and US Dollar to see where the smart money is going next and invest accordingly.

Good trading,

Christopher
