Its not clear to me how providing a branded ISP service can leverage dell's business model (supply chain management) to provide an improved business arrangement? I believe that this would then put dell in play with the big boys in media services, aol, T, athm, etc. which I think is a position of weakness rather than strength. I believe a better opportunity would be one such as an acquisition of a co. like network solutions. I think such a move would alter the dell "perception" from a position of "just a box maker" to a provider of internet connectivity devices, although I'm not sure this would be consistent with focusing on their promary customer : businesses... IMHO, TCI
