William, is yours a climber? Is this the rose, "Peace"? I planted three climbers this spring. They look healthy.

If we have a heavy wind or rain storm, the long branches on the yellow rose bushes will break. They are brittle. And they are so heavy that we had to tie the branches to the stakes with heavy rope.

If the spring had been normal, the bushes would be in bloom. When they are in bloom, I cut long-stem roses for house and, last summer, I gave many to my next door neighbor so I could control the size of the rose bushes.
