GAAY should have another strong day , #2 in volume, inthe entire BB stocks ! It will settle back probably next week, until the next NR (news release) If you buy GAAY , then it should be a hold, till July 1st at least, that is when the Bingo site will be up & running (JULY 1st), according to PR today. My feeling , is that these guys are , very responsible, professional & being very deadline oriented, which is inherent in the broadcast fields. So we might easily count on their being able to get the website in place & ready for test trials on time. A knowledge of competitively pursuing revenue dollars thru advertising, and a sensitivity to the promotional side of the net venture, is built into the profile of anyone who has
had the years of expeience as Richard Wiener has, in television/broadcast producing. Both an interactive Net play, combined with a TV / radio brodcasting settup, with the ABC deal, makes for an unusually intriguing, attractive launch pad, For GAAY. Each arm of their company is the perfect utility to promote and generate the interest in the other, and really help speed the popularity and success of all! But if you read the PR's, this is only the first ventures, calling them "revenue centers", which when(if) successfully carried out, then lead on to other Net Ventures, which will as well be promoted by the other in-place media, and newer websites. Not to forget, the TV production facilities themselves , which will be available for use, by any visiting production Group, from the near by , Hollywood area! And the application with the FCC, for future licensing, which is a process , I understand , takes approx 6 mos. By then Triangle broadcasting will have established more than a suitable reputation, as a responsible & successful company, both in Broadcasting and on the Web. AND BY THEN, 6mos, *GAAY* will hopefully be well on the way to NASDAQ listing!!!
What I see , is this must be a very exciting time for Dick Wiener, and his staff, for unlike the earlier times of the TV/Radio medium, we now have a 3rd new ,far reaching medium "The NET", to reach an even more wide ranging audience, hence the revenues pour in! Unlike selling Computers and micro-chips, we/they are offering entertainment and information value, which is valuable commodity in our society! A company that marries the Web, Television, and Radio all at the same time... with the convergence of TV and the Web? Well you just got to love it, don't you? Must be a very exciting time for Mr. Wiener and his staff down in Palm Springs, a new medium to work with, and new ideas to implement.... all you can say is: BINGO!
