Hi Linda, With probably 85% of my former VLSI position in cash now (earning MM rates) I can wait for this last piece to fall into place however it happens. I've earmarked cap. gain taxes, and the initial investment amount, but haven't figured out what I'll do with the remaining $$$. Cap gains taxes will remain in MMF until Uncle gets his piece each quarter while the initial invested amount is going into high income (after all, I am "retired!"). The last stuff looks like it may go towards either ECM's (Electronic Component Manufacturers) or telecomm equipment makers. It may end up being a split. Since I already own shares in both sectors, I may just add to my existing positions or may search out new homes in the same area. Best regards, Tom
