Larry: I fail to see the difference between affirmative treason (knowingly setting out to sell out national security)and treason by omission ("averting eyes"). The effect on our collective security is the same and that effect is directly at odds with the oath of office taken by Bubba and each of his executive appointees. It is in effect a distinction without a difference. This is the worst counterintelligence lapse since the Rosenbergs after WWII. Even after the Bubba maladministration became aware of the situation, they bungled the investigation and failed until hearing the footsteps of the Cox Committee to do anything to ameliorate security issues. Even now senior Commerce Department officials continue to lament the transfer of the authority for granting satellite launch waivers back to State. Nevertheless, this is probably no worse than we should expect as a country for having elected such a thoroughly unprincipled and self indulgent "man" as President. The man obviously can't see beyond the end of his penis and making sure that his member continues to enjoy the power and prestige that comes with his high office so that his member will continue to be served. The country could have repudiated this man and chose not to. Failing to act here will set another very dangerous precedent. You get what you pay for has never been more true. JLA
