Hi Everybody!-

Does anyone out there happen to know what kind of responsibility a company has to it's shareholders to report quarterly earnings in a timely fashion? I find the extent to which Alpnet has delayed its DEC 31 earnings to be ridiculous and irresponsible!!

Notice the decline in trading volume the last 30 days. All interest in this stock has diminished (temporarily, I hope) and with good reason. Show me the money!!

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Investor Relations has been telling Investors for weeks its going to be out "any day now". I did call them Monday morning 0310 and they said "This week". I presume it can't be delayed any more than this and they will be out Thurs or Fri.

Even if they are better than expected, I do not like the lack of reliability. There are plenty of companies out there with good growth prospects that conform to business "norms" and report their earnings in a reasonable and prompt fashion. If anyone can add insight into this situation or how "normal"it is, please do!!

My quess is they have been sitting on Earnings for weeks waiting for some other news or report to include with their earnings. I don't know, this is just speculation. However, this delay is especially not appreciated given the fact they came out on 12/10 and said " there was no fundamental reason for the decline in the stock" (3 down to 1 3/4). At this time, they apparently neglected to inform us that they were henceforth no longer reporting earnings to investors and all profits would now be diverted towards the purchase of a Winnebago so they can skip town.

Happy Investing!!
