There goes Cramer, picking on those analysts again.....never anything positive to say. What a joke.
Random musings: Came across an old sell recommendation of First Union (FTU:NYSE) last night by Tom Brown, late of DLJ and now of Tiger. In it, point by point, were all of the things that could -- and did -- go wrong with First Union, including the ridiculous CoreStates overpay. Of course, it cost Brown his job to be honest, which says something repulsive about Wall Street.
Which is why, increasingly, I expect that if you want to read the truth, the actionable truth about Wall Street, you will have to come to places like TheStreet.com. Brown could be right as rain and keep his job if he were working at TSC. |
