Richard, I guess I was kind of tired yesterday as we exchanged memos. You were able to indentify the differences in our approache to TA sooner then I could. It sounds like you like and follow Chande's teachings. I kind follow Murphy and Pring. Chande is a scientist, an inventor, and a respected trading system developer. I think right now he is the leading inventor when it comes to TA indicators. I think that Murphy and Pring kind use more of what is available. Chande CMO(Chande Momentum Oscillator) is by the far best momentum oscillator in my opinion. I like it better then RSI, Stochastic, ROC, momentum, etc(this is my personal opinion). You will find CMO all over my TA studies. If Chande likes VHF better then ADX then you won't get an argument from me. I do use CMO along with ADX to balance the weakness that you mentioned about it.

I really like the way you stick to testing your indicators. I am guilty of not doing this myself and I should. Do you use Omega trade Station? What are some of your favorite indicators?
