There has always been this vague, in the background noise about what would happen to Cognos when Microsoft enters this market segment. Cognos has maintained that MSFT niche is a bit different then theirs, MSFT entry will expand the BI sector etc. but most of the time when ever Cognos numbers or story, etc. released, analysts mentioned MSFT 'Threat'.

I just think this alleviate that some what. As for the market, it has been discounting COGN for a while but at least it is steady around this price. Hopefully, next qtrly numbers will push it up.
