Xircom Has It All

Xircom (XIRC 25 5/16 OTC) has it all. If this company lives up to
expectations, we should be able to sell the stock for a gain on the
order of 100% within the next year. Xircom boasts long-term price
momentum that puts it in the top 2% of all stocks. It also has a ton of
fundamental momentum as reflected in March-quarter earnings that
more than tripled on 52% growth of sales, topping analyst
expectations. Xircom is the acknowledged industry leader within one
of the fastest growing niches in the computer industry. And its stock
is ridiculously undervalued at a mere 12 times earnings estimates for
the current fiscal year (ending Sept.) and 10 times next year's
estimate - both of which have been validated by comments of top
management.

Xircom is the world's leading maker and OEM supplier of mobile
communications solutions for connecting portable computer users,
either locally or remotely, to corporate networks, the Internet, and
other online resources. The company's products are sold and
supported in more than 100 countries through a global network of
distributors, integrators and resellers. As would be expected of an
industry leader, Xircom is an innovator with a long string of firsts to its
credit. It recently introduced the first miniature PCI modem, which is
incorporated in Hitachi's notebook and sub-notebook PCs.

So if this super-growth company is delivering results that exceed
expectations, why is it valued in the marketplace at less than half
January's peak price? It might have something to do with the
manic-depressive investment mentality so prevalent in the stock
market. But it is exactly that characteristic of market behavior that
creates great profit opportunities for us. Xircom is a great buy near
25 and an incredible opportunity in the low 20s.
