First Americans Mortgage Corporation to Move Office Space
LENEXA, Kansas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 1999--Dustan R. Shepherd, president of First Americans Mortgage Corporation (FAMC), a subsidiary of AmeriResource Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB:ARET - news), announced today that the company will be closed on May 28 in order to relocate. The move will expand the company's office space to approximately 2,000 square feet with an option for an additional 3,500 square feet. The offices will move from Lenexa to the neighboring community of Overland Park (both communities are located in the Kansas City metropolitan area). ''The company will use the holiday weekend to relocate and re-establish office operations,'' commented Shepherd. ''The move will include upgrading our computer network and origination software while increasing our telephone system and office layout. FAMC and ARET will also use this opportunity to combine our office space.''
Shepherd continued, ''This move will culminate the most productive month in ARET's recent history. During May we filed our annual and first quarter financials, finalized the Agent's Hotel Guide, Inc. purchase and subsequent Letter of Intent for the 50% sale to STARUNI and announced our strategic alliance with George K. Baum & Company while developing the loan origination website to be launched on June 3. The new office will allow us adequate space for our near-term staffing requirements with adjoining additional footage for expansion.''
