Hmm. Frank - I am not sure I understand what the difficulty is?
I have just assumed that if SR did work, and went to the home, that it would use some LAN type of packet based protocol?
Or the traffic could get broken out on a relatively local subhead node.
There are lots of ways to do that. I was involved in these types of designs back in the 80's.
