Gerstner came from RJR Nabisco. Prior to that, he was a senior manager at American Express. Cut his teeth as a consultant, I believe it was Booz, Allen... As for Dell, I last traded the stock over the December/January period, got out just over 100 in the blowoff, sold CPQ at that time, along with AMAT and a couple others. Only kept IBM and Intel in the tech group. Added some HAL back then, turned out to be one of the better performers, an oil stock!!! Have some BA. Looking to get back into tech for another position trade, INTC/CPQ and Dell are on the list. No moves yet. Although the PC group has been hit, the market itself is not far off it's all time highs. I'd like to see the general market get hammered, that would be the time...
