Lee -- 2 articles on RISC in Sarasota paper today. Neither overly complimentary. 1st one says Risc is listing potential receivables from the State's Special Disability Trust Fund as assets. State seriously considering abolishing the fund, leaving insurer's on the hook..... Risc wants permission to continue listing as an asset ($51.8 million)Most states do not allow this practice. Florida is overhauling the SDTF system now and tightening up the accounting methods. Not encouraging for cashflow at Risc. 2nd article addresses Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigation into campaign donations. Alludes to donations by individuals at Risc may have been reimbursed by the company..... FDLE is now working hand - in - hand with the grand jury on this one.... Just thought that you might want to know since I'm a local and read the papers daily. MB
