Ted, has CNBC done anything on the hot new trend of combining stock research with professional wrestling?

I don't know if any reporters are aware of the existence of the WWAF (World-Wide Analysts Federation), but it might be an interesting story.

I subscribe to their video-newsletter series, mixing no-holds bars wrestling action with timely stock recommendations. Last month's feature match pitted "The Internut" against "Mr. Intrinsic Value".

It was great.

Not only did I get to experience the vicarious thrill of violent pandemonium, I also learned interesting valuation techniques for internet companies (the Internut believes their all incredibly undervalued - that's what made it interesting) and great insights on breaking out the PVGO of intangible assets!

The WWAF hasn't gotten a lot of media attention.

But what do you do with a 6'6" ex-pro linebacker wearing face-paint, a studded dog-collar, chains, and black motorcycle pants bellowing into the camera "LISTEN TO ME PEOPLE! AND ESPECIALLY YOU MR. MICHAEL DELL! IT'S NO LONGER A HARDWARE SELL! IT'S A SOLUTIONS SELL! YOUR SERVICE OFFERINGS MUST BE BULKED UP! YOU MUST MOVE TOWARDS BECOMING A TOTAL SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN YOUR PROJECTED LONG-TERM GROWTH RATES..."

What do I do with it is call it - great television!

I see CNBC partnering w/ the WWAF and producing a daily hour-long program in the 7 p.m. spot.

Best Regards,

Tom

P.S. The really scarey thing is that, for all we know, someone actually is thinking about this. <g>
