I made an error. I should have used the post split price. Above paragraph should read as follows:

Now compared that to my long term EMC gain of $50/.21 = 23,810 percent over 8 years minus 20 per cent for taxes, yielding 19,000 percent gain for the eight years or an average of of over 2,250 per cent per year (non compounded).

Sorry about that, but my point is still the same. You can make serious money by buying and holding, assuming you buy and hold the right one. Emc is one of the right ones.
