Piper, IRSN has been pretty strong most of day. . .not as good a DAYtrade as I had hoped. . .but the beauty of daytrading a stock that you are already in a longer term position with is that its a sort of win win. . . take a part and just buy dips and sell peaks, while the regular longer position rides right thru the day or week. THAT is why I chose to play IRSN. . . allows many more opportunities... .sort of like day trading BDE with say a third of your position. . .hard to lose. . especially on strength.. . . but if you keep to the intradays closely. . .and are applying good discipline. . it can actually be a pleasure. . . .only thing that can spoil that is a mid-day news release. . .that's why 2/3 rd of position just sits there. . .my positions are constantly changing up and down according to risk vs. reward based on momentum, volume and news.

I know I didn't answer your question. But that is the way I am playing. . .so it is consistent with my thinking. . .not in IRSN strictly as a daytrade. . .if I were, I probably would have cut my position in half when volume dried up, taking slight gain, then average down on weakness, looking for another run late day. . if no run dump half. . . might hold overnight on news dissemination. . .then sell into gap or morning strength if any. . .

But again. . that is NOT the way I am playing this. . . my way is far less stressful. . . and that is what this thread is all about.
