TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1999-- IDS (TSE:ISD - news) announced today it had been granted funding for Phase II development of its computer-controlled laser rastering system that automatically scans, samples and analyses baggage in-line with regular X-ray baggage scanners. IDS - High-speed laser baggage screening system successfully completes Phase I development, funding granted for in-service= testing by FAA and Transport Canada.
