Edward Snyder said in a research note Motorola's
phone deal with Bell Atlantic announced Wednesday
is worth $250 million to $300 million over the next 12

Zimits and Synder said the chip giant beat out
Qualcomm (QCOM: news, msgs), Samsung, Sony
(SNE: news, msgs) and Nokia (NOK: news, msgs)
for the 1 million-unit CDMA wireless phone deal.
The analysts reiterated their "buy" rating on the
stock with a price target of $100 a share. Motorola
stock was one of the few losers in the sector, it
slipped 1 5/8 to 80 3/8.
