<<DELL is locked into the PC space in a death spiral.>> Rudedog: Interesting analysis. Don't underestimate DELL's ability to secure a "win -win agreement" with IBM. The PC is not dead and DELL will offer new products and services that are complementary to using PCs (eg. Telecom services, ISP services). DELL may also secure the technology and service support it needs to really go after MUCH MORE of the lucrative enterprise storage market. Tom Meredith talked about this goal on a recent Merrill Lynch conference call. He'll be watching over DELL's margins. Don't underestimate what DELL will be able to do. Stay tuned.
