Michael, If you already own it at 16, what are you going to average down now for? SMOD is a good company with good products.Its present drop, IMO, is due to general market conditions. I don't believe that whatever bottom it finds will be too far from the present price. When the market stabilizes, I believe that SMOD will rally with it, and we will once again be looking at a price in the 20's.

In general, if you're going to average down on anything, I would wait to see a little strength. Better to miss the first point or two coming up from the bottom, than buy in too early.

I don't expect any good news in the market tomorrow, but hopefully next week some buyers will return to scoop up some of the stocks that now look like bargains -- SMOD being one of them.
