In generalities I agree with you completely...

But on an individual basis...the three stocks I am holding with the borrowed money are doing well and have their own story and reason to continue further...(acquisition, split, hot sector)...so, when I see it turning the other way...bam...I am out...

But you are right...I am new to "trading"

So, willing to learn...still don't see the mortgage analogy with my
"trading" money...guess it is the difference between "trading" and daytrading.

Ultimately I would lump Margin buying and credit card buying into the same boat...don't do it!
