The mistake I would say I made in hindsight was trading Banks when the Banks in the U.S were looking very weak and rumors about a rate hike floating around.

Ditto. I bought NNC "because it was down a buck" it punched $39.90 once but rebounded quickly, no trades of size traded in the 39.90 range so no "stops" were hit to give the impression of a teetering stock. I bought at $40.00 held the thing for eleven years today, and then bailed out just to watch it got to 40.70....not a huge run but all I got was commission money!!
I was sure Teckies were going to crawl up, didn't pay attention to the US markets!

As for your TD trade this morning....its obvious what you did wrong...you should have bought at open (74.80) and sold at 78.50...just look at the chart!<<ggggggggggggg>
