While it is called the new Age, the beliefs are the oldest false religion known, originating in the garden.
Gen 3:4-5 The serpent said to the woman, You surely will not die! For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.
This idea that Yeshua is a principle and not a man is the definition of Anti-Christ according to the scriptures that these gnostics claim to understand.
1 John 4 2-3 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that [spirit] of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Gnosticisim is an old idea repackaged into a modern context. It is still a lie and is in opposition to the inclusive nature of God. The gospel is not hidden by special knowledge and available only to the elite (as the gnostics have always believed). It is the love of God that even a child can understand. Pride is their stumbling block. I pray the Yeshua will humble prideful hearts that prevent the simplicity of the Gospel from reaching them.
Calling our attention to that earliest lie, the Apostle Paul presents a clear contrast to the gnostic idea of special revelation.
2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Yeshua himself tells us to come to Him as a child. More complex understanding is not required and in many cases is a hindrance to understanding the love of God in Messiah.
