John, I was just reading the price in Barron's of the ATT 8 1/8s of 2022, which are yielding 7.7%. And the 8 5/8 of 2031 are yielding 7.9%. Since they are premium bonds, the higher yield may have to do with call features. However, as the 8 1/8s are trading at $105, which is the usual call price, that shouldn't have any effect on them.

I have no idea why anyone would accept a 94 basis point spread on this issuer. Maybe the brokers were really giving good phone. <g>
