Tickertype, if and when they get a $50 MM order, I'll be the first to jump into the fray, but repeating John mantra, now, how about a nice little PO. My reasoning is very simple, an initial order in excess of $50 MM (from a single OEM) would indicate to me (and the market) that indeed 10 times as much on an annual basis is feasible within 18 months, and another doubling (like the billion everyone is talking about) is feasible within another 18 months after that (or three years).
I just fear that putting that high threshold, is detrimental to the company, you know what happen when a company does not meet excessive expectations, even if on a rational basis they execute their business plan flawlessly. A $50 MM order will be equivalent to about 750,000 batteries? I just do not know of any line of portable computers that is so large, and I also doubt that any OEM will risk almost its full line of portable PC on a technology that has not yet suffered through the abuse of consumers. Remember the little flaming Apples, or just recently the Micron melting boxes? very few of these, but the marketing damage is awesome, and thus the OEM's are going to go slow on launching a completely new technology, IMHO.
