My position in Lundin Oil is not sufficiently large to lay me open to spamming charges (i think), but if you study this thread, you see that this Lundin family has fingers in all sorts of pies, including a large share in the Sudan, which appears to be an extension of Saudi Arabia-type oilbearing formations that have never been much drilled. Most exploratory wells that have been drilled there have hit huge pay zones. The key to profiting is the 1000-km pipeline to the Red Sea that in fact is nearly complete.

Of course in the midst of what is still an OPEC oil glut, this may not seem very exciting.
