Well Neocon, as has been pointed out here a number of times (but maybe not to you), in technical terms many many people here violate the terms of use. Its a pretty loose definition anyway and applies more to the stock threads. The coffee shop threads are kind of a free-for-all unless somebody complains. There have been a few days there where JLA posted 25 one-liner personal attack posts in a row. "you're an idiot", "what a stupid person you are", etc. etc. Now, had someone felt the need they probably could have reported him on that day and he would have been gone I suspect. However most of the people here realize that at one time or another we have all technically violated the rules therefore its a very low thing to go out and tattletale on somebody. Again, I have certainly never followed Vaughn or JLA to any other thread but I can dig up all kinds of posts where one of them said, "look at Harris on the Dell thread" etc. etc. in the 3rd person. Its just back-stabbing low class behavior that you expect from high school students etc. not from adults. Now otoh if you wanted to report someone for bothering you then fine, you have never violated any rules ever as far as I can see. But Vaughn and JLA - man that is really the pot calling the kettle black. The same thing happened to me a few months ago there was this nasty right wing grandma who constantly reported me to SI even though she was incredibly obnoxious, in fact JLA even encouraged her, you should have seen her posts, incredible.
